Itinerary
DAY 01:
- 08:00 – 08:15 a.m.: We’ll pick you up from your hotel in our private vehicle and head to the Pisaq archaeological site and drive 1:30- minutes araund.
- 09:30 – 11:30 a.m.: Enjoy a guided tour of the stunning archaeological site of Pisaq. Discover agricultural terraces, Inca burial grounds, lookout towers, and the temple of the sun, along with some pre-Inca structures.
- 11:30 – 01:00 p.m.: After the visit, we begin our peaceful descent on a beautiful Inca trail down to the town of the community of Pisaq. The hike takes around two hours and is filled with impressive mountains.
- 01:30 – 02:30 p.m.: we are going to have a delicious lunch at a local tourist restaurant in Pisaq.
- 02:30 – 03:30 p.m.: Then, we visit the local market of Pisaq, where you’ll learn about the ancient Inca textile process. You’ll also find handmade ceramics, silver jewelry, and have free time to shop.
- 03:30 – 04:30 p.m.: We continue to Qochawasi Animal Care Center, where you’ll see native Andean animals such as condors, pumas, spectacled bears, macaws, and among another kind of andean animals . Your guide will explain the Inca symbolism of animals like the condor, puma, and serpent.
- 04:30 – 05:30 p.m.: We return to Cusco in our private transport, ending the tour in the main square.
