ESNNA Code
Home / ESNNA Code

This Code is a formal declaration aimed at establishing standards of conduct for all employees of Guiding Perú Travel, in order to protect children and adolescents from any form of sexual exploitation and human trafficking associated with travel and tourism.
At Guiding Perú Travel, we reaffirm our commitment to protecting childhood and adolescence from Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (ESNNA), especially within the travel and tourism sector.
This crime is a serious violation of human rights, and therefore we declare a zero-tolerance policy against these abusive practices.
Legal Framework in Peru
Peruvian legislation protects children and severely punishes these crimes:
- Criminal Code of Peru – sanctions sexual abuse of minors with prison sentences.
- Code of Conduct against ESNNA in Travel and Tourism Agencies – a total commitment assumed
by the tourism sector to prevent, detect, and report these cases.
It is important to remember that child sexual exploitation is a very serious crime and can be punished with imprisonment.
